<p>Kapsch TrafficCom has announced the establishment of a new ITS Business Unit, with the objective of further expanding the company’s activities beyond its core business of Electronic Toll Collection (ETC). The new unit will be responsible for developing systems for: Road Safety Enforcement, Traffic Management, Commercial Vehicle Operations, Electronic Vehicle Registration, as well as in the expanding field of Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2X) Cooperative Systems. The unit’s first venture is the launch of ‘Kapsch Force’, a comprehensive and fully integrated road safety enforcement software suite, which was revealed at the Traffex show currently taking place in Birmingham, UK.
